  Known by many names — coltin, la blouse, bleu de chauffe — the iconic French blue work jacket (or overshirt, depending on how you wear it) is most commonly called Bleu de Travail, meaning "work blues." Originally designed to protect laborers, it was built for durability, comfort, and practicality. Its loose fit allowed for easy layering, and any wear and tear was often repaired with simple cotton patches.

Our version stays true to the original, featuring a relaxed fit, five front buttons, buttoned cuffs for easy rolling, two large lower pockets, one chest pocket, and one interior pocket. Wear it buttoned as a shirt or open as an overshirt — it’s as versatile as it is timeless.
